The Boost Foundation Five Hour Endurance Race Set for This Sunday
The third running of The Boost Foundation Five Hour Endurance race is set for January 18 at Willow Springs International Raceway. This event will be the first competition event for gas powered karts on the newly renovated and paved kart track in Rosamond, CA.
This event is powered by Tri-C Karters benefitting The Boost Foundation – a charity driven to make a positive impact for those living with Cystic Fibrosis through education to the public, financial grants to promote physical activity through sports and recreation, and providing once in a lifetime motorsport experiences to those with CF and giving a face to this profoundly complex disease.
“We launched this event in 2023 with the help of Tri-C Karters, RLV, and Apex Kart Track. With the combined efforts, it started something that I hope lives on for years to come beyond my time. We now offer a multi-class event with the two 4-stroke platforms; Briggs 206 and Tillotson 225RS, offering great battles on track and a true endurance racing feel. This has become our marquee event for The Boost Foundation each year among all the different racing events we hold. Definitely makes us feel like we are growing a great platform and brand to help spread awareness for Cystic Fibrosis fighters everywhere!” – KC Cook, Founder of The Boost Foundation/CF Fighter
