Leading up to the on-track action of the 2025 edition of the marquee SKUSA event, EKN will preview each of the nine categories that will compete on the temporary circuit located outside the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas from November 12-16.

Trackside coverage is set to begin on Tuesday, November 11 as the EKN crew sets up our SuperNationals 28 home, roaming the LVMS grounds with Paddock Insider and social media content. Coverage continues into Wednesday as karts hit the track for the first time. EKN Live begins on Thursday, November 13 as qualifying is conducted for both the morning classes and the afternoon divisions. Listen LIVE to the heat races throughout Friday, November 14 and into Situation Saturday, November 15, including the five Last Chance Qualifiers held on the day. That sets everything up for SuperSunday, with the main events for SuperNationals 28 audio streamed live on eKartingNews.com/live and eKartingNews.com/radio.

Pro X30

Each and every SuperNationals since 2003, the TaG Senior division has been one of the most dramatic. From the Toby Scheckter decision in ’04, to the photo finish in 2010 with Andre Nicastro and David Sera, each and every year has been unpredictable. The category, all the way up to today with the Pro X30 division, has featured 21 different winners in the 21 editions on SuperSunday.

Joe Turney (MPG / Kart Republic) is looking to end all of that by becoming the first driver to win in back-to-back years. The British driver won in his first start in 2024, and also become the first Senior driver to win both KA100 Senior and Pro X30 in the same event. The now two-time winner and reigning SKUSA Winter Series champion will have all the attention on him throughout the week in Las Vegas.

Two others have the opportunity to become the first two-time winner in the category as well. The equal-in-attention story heading into the SuperNationals next to Turney is the SKUSA debut of Ryan Norberg with GFC Karting. The six-time SKUSA Pro Tour champion left Rolison Performance Group in early September, his home since 2019. The 2021 SuperNationals winner is seeking a second triumph in only his second start on GFC after competing at ROK Vegas last week. Norberg’s former teammate Donovan Bonilla (RPG / Kosmic) is also going for a second career win in Pro X30. The 2023 winner backed up his victory with a P9 finish last year, and he will be among the contenders all week.

Two other former SuperNationals winners are in the field. Pauly Massimino won KA100 Senior in 2019, but has been unable to crack into the top-10 in his last three SuperNationals starts for Pro X30. Massimino is coming off his best season thus far, winning in both Pro X30 and KA100 Senior. He will be among the 40 drivers doing the double with both classes, including Turney, Bonilla and others. Turner Brown (RPG / Kosmic) is a double winner in 2023 for X30 Junior and KA100 Junior, and will make his Senior debut at the SuperNationals. Brown spent the season competing in OK-Junior in Europe, and already has his first Senior podium with a P5 at ROK Vegas in SV Pro.

Four of the five podium finishers are returning from last year. Joining Turney and Norberg are Ruben Moya and Austin Garrison. Moya (FDM / Pantano) was top qualifier in his SuperNationals debut, turning it into a P3 on SuperSunday. The Spaniard finished sixth in the SKUSA Pro Tour standings, which was led by Garrison (SCR / CS55). The Florida driver earned his second career title, going with the 2014 S2 Semi-Pro crown. Garrison has two straight podium finishes in his last two starts, placing third in 2023.

The entire top-10 from the SKUSA Pro Tour standings are in the field including Garrison, Norberg, Massimino, Diego Ramos (PSL / Birelart), and Blake Nash (Nash / EOS) from the top-five. Ramos is coming off his best career season in the USA as the Brazilian claimed the KA100 Senior title and won his first SKUSA Pro Tour race at New Castle. He has yet to finish inside the top-15 however over his last four starts at the SuperNationals. Nash finished fifth in the standings for SKUSA, but only has a best finish of 19 at the SuperNats over the last three starts.

Add in Moya, Gus Lawrence, Jesus Vasquez Jr., Caden McQueen, and Ayden Ingratta to the mix. Lawrence (RPG / Kosmic) will be making his first start at the SuperNationals. The British driver won at the SpringNationals and finished seventh in the standings despite missing the WinterNats. Vasquez (GFC Karting) stood on the podium twice over the six rounds in 2025 and he finished 11th last year in only his second Pro X30 start at the SuperNationals. Momentum is on the side of McQueen as the British driver won the recent ROK Vegas SV Pro category last week in his first races on a temporary parking lot barrier circuit. After starting the year strong with P3 at the SKUSA Winter Series, Caden moved from Energy to Velocity / Sodi Kart at the halfway point of the season, putting him as the lead driver on the powerhouse team. Ingratta (SCR / CS55) is part of the strong Canadian contingent in the field, as he placed eighth last year and had a podium back in 2021 in X30 Junior. A total of four Canadians have won over the 21 editions of the category.

The 92-driver field is filled with international talent. Australia is represented by Jackson Souslin (JHDD / Kart Republic), Brodie Whitmore (JHDD / Kart Republic), and Lachlan Cini Cini (TWM / Kart Republic). Former FIA Karting KZ2 world champion Niels Troeger (Maranello USA) from Germany is making a return to the SuperNationals, this time in Pro X30 after spending the season racing ADAC GT4 Germany. Rolison Performance Group is welcoming several international drivers, including UK’s Jaiden Pope and Rotax Winter Trophy champion Lewis Goff, Amador Martinez from Colombia and Rayn Kayrouz from Dubai. Factory Kart Republic driver Iacopo Martinese from Italy is making his first SuperNationals start while Mexico’s Jose Carlos Hernandez is moving up from KA100 Senior to Pro X30.

Other regular notables include Alessandro de Tullio (RRC / LN Racing Kart), who finished seventh last year. Former top qualifier Jake Drew (FW / GFC) is back from more, former SKUSA Pro Tour champion Hannah Greenemeier (RPG / Kosmic) is returning as well, and SKUSA Winter Series KA100 Senior champion Frankie Mossman (SCR / CS55) is on his game and was in the hunt for the SV Pro win at ROK Vegas. Rookies to watch include SKUSA Pro Tour champion Alexander Vanchev (RPG / Kosmic) and Lillian Scarbrough (RPG / Kosmic), who were on the SuperNats podium last year in X30 Junior. Ty Fisher (TB Kart), Nathan Dupuis (Nash / EOS), Chace Gassiot-Lee (Nash / EOS) and Dean Pedersen (Soren / Kart Republic), who has been racing in Europe all season, are making their first starts in Pro X30.
