Leading up to the on-track action of the 2025 edition of the marquee SKUSA event, EKN will preview each of the nine categories that will compete on the temporary circuit located outside the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas from November 12-16.

Trackside coverage is set to begin on Tuesday, November 11 as the EKN crew sets up our SuperNationals 28 home, roaming the LVMS grounds with Paddock Insider and social media content. Coverage continues into Wednesday as karts hit the track for the first time. EKN Live begins on Thursday, November 13 as qualifying is conducted for both the morning classes and the afternoon divisions. Listen LIVE to the heat races throughout Friday, November 14 and into Situation Saturday, November 15, including the five Last Chance Qualifiers held on the day. That sets everything up for SuperSunday, with the main events for SuperNationals 28 audio streamed live on eKartingNews.com/live and eKartingNews.com/radio.

X30 Junior

An over-sold 57-driver roster for the X30 Junior field will compete outside the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for SuperNationals 28. A historic list of former winners highlight the 16 drivers to claim the victory on SuperSunday, including F1 drivers and potential future stars in motorsports. The 17th winner will be a new name once again last year’s victor Sebastian Garzon has moved on to the Senior ranks. Garzon is part of an elite group that includes Jeremy Fletcher (2021) and Turner Brown (2023) as drivers to win both KA100 Junior and X30 Junior in the same event.

The X30 Junior category is also another that does not have the reigning SKUSA Pro Tour champion competing. 2025 title winner Alexander Vanchev will not be in the field in Las Vegas, having moved up to the Senior ranks for SuperNationals 28. The four other drivers in the top-five of the standings will be competing – Max Weiland (Magik Kart USA), Ashton Woon (SCR / CS55), Travis Pettit (RPG / Kosmic), and Sarah Bradley (RPM / Sodi Kart). Weiland will make a third start in the category at the SuperNationals, and he is looking to improve on 11th place result last year. Woon is among the 10 drivers making the jump up from Mini Swift, where he finished runner-up in his fourth career SuperNationals start. Pettit is also making his first SuperNationals start in X30 after placing 22nd in KA100 Junior a year ago. Bradley is among the veterans of the category, with the 15-year-old coming in with two top-16 results over the last two editions.

Just over a dozen drivers are returning from last year’s field, with Bradley as the top finisher from a year ago in eighth. Former Micro Swift winner Jackson Gibson (NRC / Gillard) was ninth last year as the only other top-10 returning driver. Gibson is among the three former SuperNationals winners in the field. Royce Vega (RPG / Kosmic) is making his X30 Junior debut. The 2023 Mini Swift winner finished 10th in his attempt at a second straight class victory. Michael McGaughy (RPM / Kart Republic) is returning to the USA after a successful year in Europe and he coming back to the SuperNationals for the first time since 2023, where he finished second in his attempt at repeating his 2022 victory in the Mini Swift category. This will be his first start in X30 Junior, and he is among the 35 drivers racing both divisions.

Eyes will be on the international contingent in the field, including FIA Karting OK-Junior World Champion Noah Baglin (Prema / Kart Republic). The driver from UK will be joined by Dutch driver Dean Hoogendoorn (Prema / Kart Republic), who finished third at the event. Panama driver Gianmatteo Rousseau (REM / Kosmic) finished sixth at the world championship in Sweden, and is set for his first SuperNationals start in the X30 Junior category along with the Baglin and Hoogendoorn.

Along with Woon, there are other notables making their first starts at the SuperNationals in X30 Junior. Among them is SKUSA Pro Tour Mini Swift champion Enzo DiGennaro (Parolin Motorsport USA). After a great season in the Cadet ranks, DiGennaro makes his Junior debut at the big show. USPKS winner Theo Salomao (Orsolon / Tony Kart), Jaxon Porter (SCR / CS55), Nico Kotowski (TKG / Birelart), Marco Sammut (BJR / LN Racing Kart), and Braydon Wagner (FW / GFC) are on the rookie list.

Other drivers expected to be in contention include ROK Vegas winner Erik Doan (PSL / Birelart), John Antonino (MPG / Kart Republic), Jose Alejandro Halphen (RPG / Kosmic), Cole Medeiros (REM / Kosmic), Leonardo Serravalle (REM / Kosmic), Tristan Murphy (RPM / Tony Kart), and Luca Popescu (RPG / Kosmic).
