GFC Karting Announces Strategic Partnerships

Formula Works and Wicked Racing solidified as GFC distributors, adding Norberg Karting Academy to complete national dealer and race team network

GFC Karting proudly announces three major strategic partnerships expanding its national network. The Norberg Karting Academy has been named the Official Southeast Distributor, with Ryan Norberg — one of America’s most decorated karting drivers — stepping into key leadership roles as GFC Director of Driver Development and Product Strategist, as well as Lead X30 Factory Driver.

GFC Karting continues to expand its national dealer network with the addition of two key partners: Wicked Racing has been appointed the Official Northwest Distributor, bringing trusted expertise and regional support to drivers and dealers throughout the Pacific Northwest, while Formula Works has been named the Official Southwest Distributor, strengthening GFC’s presence across the Southwest with their proven commitment to technical excellence and customer service.

This partnership marks a milestone in the evolution of competitive karting in the United States. By combining the elite driver development of the Norberg Karting Academy, the race-proven engineering of Team GFC, and the regional leadership of Wicked Racing and Formula Works, GFC Karting has built a coast-to-coast framework for driver success. In the Southeast, Ryan Norberg’s Academy creates a clear pathway from grassroots development to national competition. In the Northwest, Wicked Racing delivers unmatched race-day support and technical expertise under shifter kart champion Kyle Wick. In the Southwest, Formula Works adds its proven reputation for precision and customer service, ensuring drivers across the region have access to GFC’s championship-winning chassis and guidance.

Together, these partnerships will further strengthen our already impressive dealer lineup. From Box Truck Racing in Sonoma, California to Competition Motors Co. in Oregon, Scuderia Littel in Utah, and Rivera Racing in Connecticut, our network continues to expand coast to coast. Anchored by Formula Works in California and Trackside Karting Services in Texas, we are proud to also include international representation through WK Motorsports in Thailand, Advanced Karting in Costa Rica and Madonna Racing in Canada.

Adding to this strength are Milrock Karting in Wisconsin, Proelium Competitions in Tennessee, SpeedTech Racing in Indiana, LD Racing in Florida, and Full Throttle Karting in Idaho, each bringing unique expertise and regional leadership. Collectively, this growing dealer family ensures that GFC Karting drivers have access to world-class support, equipment, and mentorship wherever they race.

This monumental partnership ensures that drivers have access to top-tier training, equipment, and regional support, enabling them to compete with confidence at every level of the sport. Beyond individual achievement, this collaboration strengthens the foundation of karting as a whole — expanding access, raising standards, and helping cultivate the next generation of champions.

“These partnerships represent a major step forward in our mission to deliver high-performance karting experiences across the U.S.,” said Gary Carlton, founder of GFC. “With Norberg Karting Academy leading the way in the Southeast and Wicked Racing strengthening our presence in the Northwest, and Formula Works in the Southwest, we are building a network that combines top-tier products, professional support, and a passion for racing.”
