In 2024, at just 8 years old, Burgess captured six national titles in the Micro Swift class, making history as one of the most decorated drivers in the category. Now, in 2025, Burgess has added even more accolades to his growing résumé—claiming the Rotax Micro MAX title at the RMC Winter Trophy—and has taken his first bold steps onto the international stage, moving up to the Mini class and beginning his European racing journey.

2025 — Rotax Champion and European Debut in Mini Class

Burgess kept his momentum going into 2025 by winning the Rotax Micro MAX title at the RMC Winter Trophy, held at Orlando Kart Center. The victory earned him a ticket to compete at the prestigious Rotax Grand Finals in Bahrain—one of the world’s most elite karting events.

That same year, Zayne was selected to join the Andretti Global Driver Development Program, backed by Gainbridge, placing him in the ranks of some of the most promising young talent in motorsport. He moved up to the Mini class and began racing in both the U.S. and Europe.

In February 2025, Zayne made his European debut at the IAME Winter Cup in Valencia, racing in the highly competitive X30 Mini class. Competing on unfamiliar tracks against top international talent, Burgess proved he belonged—showcasing the same racecraft that earned him six national titles the year before.
