During our recent trip to Orlando for the Superkarts! USA Winter Series finale weekend, EKN was invited to visit the OTK Kart USA headquarters. The OTK distributor is celebrating a recent expansion that doubled the size of their space in a facility that is located just minutes away from the Orlando Kart Center.

OTK Kart USA is nestled in the middle of a busy industrial area of Orlando, very close to the international airport. Upon arriving at their headquarters, we were greeted by Luis Ruibal of OTK Kart USA. Ruibal has been part of the karting industry for multiple decades and has been with OTK for the last several years. Luis gave us a full tour of their facility, which not only serves the United States, but also Canada, Mexico, Central America, and South America. OTK Kart USA works with several dealers from multiple countries, providing karts, parts, engines and tires.

The biggest area optimized in the two large warehouse spaces at OTK Kart USA is dedicated to stocking the eight different brands of chassis produced by the manufacturer. From Kid Kart to shifter, different models for each OTK brand in stock and ready for shipping. Prior to the 2025 season kicking off in January, there was very limited space due to the sheer amount of product that was in-house, ready for distribution to dealers. All eight brands – Tony Kart, Kosmic, Exprit, Redspeed, EOS, Gillard, LN Racing Kart, and CS55 – are on display in their newer showroom that sits alongside their office space.

In the entry area into the facility are the Tony Kart Viper karts. These are the rental kart models for both indoor and outdoor circuits with both electric and gas powerplants. OTK has taken all their research from the competition side of the sport and implemented that knowledge toward the rental kart market, manufacturing the karts in their world headquarters in Italy. Ruibal and OTK Kart USA are currently working with tracks here in the United States to utilize for their rental kart fleet.

A division of OTK Kart USA is the Vortex engine product line, which is utilized at the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour, ROK Vegas, ROK Sonoma, and clubs and series across the country. These engines all come through OTK Kart USA, with the range including the Mini ROK, ROK GP, and ROK Shifter powerplants, along with the VLR. Ruibal told EKN that their 100cc engine is gaining momentum at the club and regional level here in the USA, and also with select countries in Central and South America.

With the hundreds of karts that make their way through the doors of OTK Kart USA each year, racers will always be in need of replacement parts. The OTK Kart USA facility is equipped with a Modula Lift that includes over 50 rotating shelves of OTK parts and products to fulfill dealer orders that need to be shipped. The continued growth within the company and dealer network, Ruibal confirmed with EKN they will be adding a second Modula Lift to store the many products needed for distribution to dealers throughout the Americas.

Anytime you walk into a kart shop or distribution center, you see boxes. Kart chassis boxes were stacked in the warehouse area at OTK Kart USA, but they also now store countless boxes of tires bearing the LeVanto and Vega logos. LeVanto is the official tire of the ROK Cup program, utilized throughout the world in ROK competition. OTK Kart USA is also the distributor for Vega brand in the United States, which is the official tire of the Cup Karts North America program.

It’s easy to see from the results of any major karting event in North America that OTK is one of the primary powerhouse manufacturers in the sport. Developing a growing headquarters in the United States is a huge step in further cementing all of their brands within the country’s industry.
