The 2025 series opener for the United States Pro Kart Series – the official IAME Series USA East program – presented by MG Tires will make history on the March 14-16 weekend. The 13th season for championship is set to open at the historic Daytona International Speedway. Visiting the ‘World Center of Racing’ in Daytona Beach, Florida for the first time, the USPKS has put together an exclusive prize package for the Daytona Super GP, Round One of the 2025 championship.

“We are excited to have our first ever event at Daytona International Speedway,” stated USPKS owner Mark Coats. “For decades, Daytona has been a special place for motorsports enthusiasts from around the world, and it is our pleasure to bring this unique experience to the racers under the USPKS championship. Our visit brings on additional prizes that only adds to the massive prize purse we have been able to establish for the 2025 season.”

In addition to the cash purse of $10,500 for the IAME X30 Pro class, all seven IAME categories will see special prizes awarded following the action at the Daytona Super GP at the Daytona International Speedway. The new partnership with the Skip Barber Racing School brings two prizes to the KA100 Junior and X30 Junior division. The winner for each class will receive credit for a Skip Barber Racing School One Day Formula Car Racing School. Should the same driver win both, a coin flip for the two runner-up finishers will award the winner of the other Skip Barber credit.

Each runner-up finisher in all categories at the USPKS Daytona Super GP will receive the all new MyChron 6 thanks to AiM Sports. MG Tires USA will provide a new set of tires for all third-place finishers on the weekend. Other prizes and raffle items are set to be handed out all weekend long at Daytona International Speedway as part of the over $50,000 contingency prizes in 2025.

“It is great to be working with Skip Barber Racing School and AiM Sports to add to our prize package for the Daytona Super GP,” added Coats. “Since we began in 2013, giving back to the racers has been our mission as a championship series. We hope to have other special activities and moments throughout the weekend at Daytona in what will be a memorable event.”

With the unique location for the 2025 United States Pro Kart Series opener, the Daytona Super GP will feature a unique event schedule. Pit pass sales begins on Tuesday, March 11, with all entry to the facility available at Gate 40, just outside turn one of the NASCAR oval. Paddock parking will not begin until Wednesday, March 12 at 7:30am with sponsors and big haulers. Multiple teams of staff from DIS and USPKS will be assisting those teams and competitors to make the parking process go as quickly and smooth as possible.

Unofficial practice on Thursday, March 13 will be hosted by United States Pro Kart Series for the Daytona Super GP. The format remains unchanged from 2024 with official practice on Friday, including qualifying before the three heat races on Saturday. All main events will be held on Sunday. The USPKS continues its practice ban the week of the each event in 2025, with no on track sessions allowed Monday through Wednesday.
