OTK USA drivers and teams closed out the 2024 season in North America contesting the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals 27 on November 13-17 outside the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The annual event brought competitors from around the world, welcoming 550 entries competing in nine categories. A majority of those in Las Vegas were competing on OTK products, helping to garner a total of three wins and 16 podium finishes, including four top qualifier honors.

It was a near sweep of the podium in the X30 Junior division. Defending race winner Turner Brown (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) was able to set fast time in qualifying and earn the pole position for the main event with two of three heat race wins. Unfortunately, his race ended on the final circuit while fighting for the lead. On the final lap, Sebastian Garzon (Orsolon Racing / Tony Kart) went from fifth to first, claiming the victory – his first in the category. SKUSA Pro Tour champion Diego Ardiles (Speed Concepts Racing / CS55) ended up second with Alexander Vanchev (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) in third. Fourth place was Lillian Scarbrough (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic), the only female driver on the podium at SuperNationals 27.

The X30 Junior victory was the second time Sebastian Garzon (Orsolon Racing / Tony Kart) celebrated on the SuperSunday. The opening main event of the day was the KA100 Junior division, led to the green flag by defending race winner Turner Brown (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic). Several drivers were in contention during the 20-lap race, with a final lap pass by Garzon with three corners remaining helped him to secure the victory. SKUSA Pro Tour champion Diego Ardiles (Speed Concepts Racing / CS55) was in contention throughout the race, placing fourth while Brown ended up off the podium in seventh.

Canadian Ben Cooper added his name to the list of three-time SuperNationals winners with victory in the KA100 Master class. Cooper swept the action in the category, setting fast lap in qualifying and winning the three heat races before securing the victory in the 20-lap main event. Defending winner Matthew Waters from Australia ended up second ahead of 2022 race winner Martin Stone to give Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic a 1-2-3 finish. Former SuperNationals winner Renato Jader David (Orsolon Racing / Tony Kart) posted the fast lap of race, driving up from 17th to the fourth step of the podium.

OTK drivers and teams earned two podium results in both Pro X30 and KA100 Senior. Former Pro X30 SuperNationals winner and six-time SKUSA Pro Tour champion Ryan Norberg (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) was one position away from another Vegas victory. Norberg started second and was in contention throughout the 25-lap race, ending up in the runner-up position in the final results. United States Pro Kart Series champion Austin Garrison (Speed Concepts Racing / CS55) gained one spot to finish on the podium in fifth. In a hard fought KA100 Senior main event, Nicholas Terlecki (Hotz Driver Development / Tony Kart) gained five positions to finish third, with Jose Carlos Hernandez (Orsolon Racing / Tony Kart) advancing seven spots to fourth. Pauly Massimino (Brandon Jarsocrak Racing / LN Racing Kart) was the top qualifier in the division and won all three heat races. A bent axle after contact on the opening lap took him out of contention in the main event.

Two additional podium results were gained by OTK drivers in two other categories. Czech driver Patrik Hajek (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) returned to the SuperNationals for the first time since 2015. In his first Master Shifter start at the SuperNationals, the 2018 FIA Karting KZ World Champion overcame issues in qualifying to work his way onto the podium in fourth. Leading the way for OTK drivers in the Mini Swift category was Marco Sammut (Brandon Jarsocrak Racing / LN Racing Kart). The driver from New York fought back from a tough qualifying effort, finishing on the podium in fifth. Alvaro Medeiros (Orsolon Racing / Tony Kart) was among the four OTK drivers to secure fast time in the qualifying sessions. Medeiros was quickest in the Micro Swift category during qualifying, finishing 15th in the Final.
