The 2025 Skip Barber Race Series is here. Since 1976, the Skip Barber Race Series has served as the world’s premier driver development series. Among the thousands of drivers who started their motorsports career with the Skip Barber Race Series are Alexander Rossi, Josef Newgarden, Sergio Perez, AJ Allmendinger, and Jordan Taylor. Now, we’re proud to welcome the next generation of champions into the 2025 Skip Barber Race Series.

The series provides the thrill of a professional race weekend with the amenities of a true arrive-and-drive format. The highly structured and competitive environment of the Skip Barber Race Series is the perfect platform for both the budding racer to hone their skills and the race enthusiast to fulfill their dream.

With instructors experienced in both Formula Car racing and karting, the Skip Barber Race Series is the ideal platform for racers looking to make the leap from karts to cars.

Recently, the Skip Barber Race Series was entrusted with the development of Andretti Autosport Junior Drivers Sebastian and Oliver Wheldon, both of whom claimed the title in their rookie campaigns. The 2024 season featured a thrilling battle between Oliver Wheldon and Dean Lambros with the championship coming down to the closing minutes of the finale race.

Outside of the race weekends, drivers in the Skip Barber Race Series receive access to multiple private training days throughout the season, as well as time in the Skip Barber Simulator Center which features full-motion Simcraft racing simulators. Additionally, the Skip Barber Race Series provides marketing and media support to its competitors including VIP access at dozens of high-profile motorsports events each year.

In order to join the 2025 Skip Barber Race Series, each driver must be approved and certified to compete. This process ensures that the Skip Barber Race Series remains a safe, development-first, environment with more green-flag time than any other junior openwheel series.

The time required to complete the certification process is winding down. A select number of opportunities remain in 2024 to complete the process ahead of the season-opener next year. The 2025 Skip Barber Race Series features visits to North America’s most iconic tracks and begins in April.

Unique to the 2025 Skip Barber Race Series is a half-season option which allows for competitors to enter the Spring portion of the season and earn pre-paid entries into the remaining races based upon their performance.
