Mach1 Karts Going to Grand Nationals 8: Get Ready to Race!
It’s finally here! The much-anticipated event is happening from October 10th to 13th the very best Four-Stroke Kart pilots in North America will be sought out !
We are thrilled to announce that Mach1 will be making its debut appearance at the Cup Karts North America – Grand Nationals 8 in New Castle, Indiana! The incredible Mach1 racing karts are proudly made in Brackenheim, Germany! In New Castle, close to 700 racing karts and their pilots from over 15 countries will be ready to race! The Grand Nationals 8 are the ultimate racing event for 4-stroke sport enthusiasts. It’s the biggest and best racing weekend of the year, with top competitors from all over the globe, all racing on identical Briggs+Stratton LO206 engines. The field is divided into eight classes based on age and weight, with the youngest drivers being just five years old and the oldest in their 70s! We’re thrilled to announce that Mach1 Racing Karts will be competing in four classes! The drivers for Mach1 Karting and the Baron Racing Team are the incredible Jeff Chalmers from North Carolina, the brilliant Dr. Todd Baron from Florida, and the sensational Nikolas Kiefer from Mainz, Germany. Kiefer is one of the most promising talents in karting just starting in this sport in 2023, and we’re thrilled that he is part of the Baron Racing Team for the 2024 season and what a season it has been!
Mach1 is poised for a triumphant performance! Baron one of the top favorites this coming weekend is back and ready to take on the competition! He’s the winner of the 2024 Southern Division in both the Master and Legends classes. Chalmers and Kiefer had both amazing seasons in the Southern Division, finishing in the top 10 in both their respective classes.

Jeff Hudlett, the crew chief of the Baron Racing Team, says his drivers, pit crew, and race karts are all ready to go ! He can’t wait to show the world that the Mach1 Karts from Germany are the best of the best and will leave the karts made in China, Italy, France, and the USA in the dust!
