A dominating weekend for OTK USA drivers and teams in the third event for the 2024 United States Pro Kart Series program. The Wisconsin Grand Prix at the Mill-Rite Raceway in Dousman, Wisconsin played host to the championship program on June 28-30. In the series’ first visit to the home of the Badger Kart Club since 2013, OTK brands dominated the weekend with five victories and 16 top-five finishes.

The KA100 Junior division featured one of the largest fields at 43 drivers as OTK swept the top-five results. Amador Martinez (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) celebrated his first career victory at USPKS after being named winner following tech inspection. After winning a heat race, Martinez battled for the lead throughout the main event, coming up just short but awarded the top step of the podium at the awards ceremony. Junior rookie Michael McGaughy (Ryan Perry Motorsport / Tony Kart) claimed his best finish of the 2024 season with a runner-up result ahead of Diego Ardiles (Speed Concepts Racing / CS55). Turner Brown (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) and Benym Abernethy (Hotz Driver Development / EOS) were fourth and fifth in the results.

The weekend marked the first start for Diego Ardiles under the Speed Concepts Racing tent. Aboard his CS55 chassis, Ardiles claimed his second victory of the season in the X30 Junior division with a sweep of the weekend. From qualifying to the final checkered flag, Ardiles led the class for maximum championship points. Davin Roberts (Ryan Perry Motorsport / Tony Kart) drove to fourth with Victor de Alencar (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) in the fifth position.

Another driver to gain his first USPKS victory on OTK product was Mick Gabriel (AEM Karting / Kosmic) in the KA100 Senior division. Gabriel was among the contenders all weekend and in a wild main event, emerging with the lead in the final laps to claim his first series win. Championship leader Cooper Shipman (Iron Rock Motorsports / Tony Kart) rebounded from a DNF in one of the heat races to advance from 10th on the grid to fourth.

It was the first victory of the season for Austin Garrison (Speed Concepts Racing / Gillard) in a sweeping performance of the X30 Pro division. Garrison set fast time in qualifying and won all three heat races. He fought back from falling down to fourth in the early laps of the Final to retake the lead and drive away to over a three-second advantage at the checkered flag. Nicholas Terlecki (Hotz Driver Development / Gillard) made it an OTK 1-2 finish, surviving a last lap incident coming to the line to earn the runner-up finish. Donovan Bonilla (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) advanced one spot to fourth in the 25-lap battle.

Home turf was defended in the KA100 Masters class thanks to Scott Kopp (Franklin Motorsports / Redspeed). The Wisconsin driver claimed the lead late in the main event and held on to score victory in his first series start of 2024. Mario Barrios (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) was among the lead group in his return to action since injuries sustained in a wreck back in March that kept him out of the seat. Barrios was stellar in his return, driving to third as Martin Stone was one spot back in fourth in his Rolison Performance Group debut.
