Shifter Light podium

The 2024 season opened with record numbers for the Northwest Karting Association Padholder Super Cup Series. A total of 196 entries competed in the 14 categories – including Kid Karts – for the opening two rounds of this year’s championship, traveling to the Tri-City Kart Club Horn Rapids Kart Track outside Richland, Washington.

According to Mike Schorn of NWKA, this was THE largest series event since 2006. The members of TCKC worked hard preparing the facility for the large entries with the effort paying off in a record turnout. The weather was sunny all weekend however heavy winds rocked the paddock a few times.
