Former Skip Barber Race Series competitor Jeshua Alianell will continue his motorsports progression with a USF Juniors program run by the Skip Barber Racing School’s professional race team, Skip Barber Racing.

Alianell amassed eight wins in the Skip Barber Race Series and was a regular contender for podiums throughout his time in the series.

“I’ve been with the Skip Barber Racing School for over 3 years now and what a journey it has been,” Alianell said. “I’m extremely proud of my development through the Skip Barber Race Series. It feels like we are all a family with Anthony DeMonte, Joe Monitto, and all of the instructors and mechanics.

“As soon as I heard that they were forming a USF Juniors team I knew couldn’t pass it up. My racing goal is to climb through the ladder of the USF Pro Championships with Skip Barber and bring the Skip Barber Racing name to IndyCar,” Alianell added.

Ahead of the opening race of the season at NOLA Motorsports Park, Alianell is keeping his focus on risk management, particularly with such a large field of drivers. As it was for his time in the Skip Barber Race Series, Alianell is also placing a premium on learning as much as he can with the support of the instructors from the Skip Barber Racing School.

“My goal for this season is to learn as much as possible. It’s a massive field with 30 cars, so I want to be in a good position to stay out of trouble. I want to be as competitive as possible and with the team from Skip Barber Racing behind me, that is most definitely possible,” Alianell said.

“Jeshua consistently impressed the team at the Skip Barber Racing School with his maturity, development, and devotion to becoming a better racer,” Skip Barber Racing team manager Joe Monitto said. “Our first USF Juniors entry being a graduate of the Skip Barber Race Series is a testament to the quality of the series and is incredibly exciting. Everyone at Skip Barber Racing is eager to get the season underway,” Monitto added.
