Pittsburgh International Race Complex, a premier destination for karting, is excited to announce big changes for the Pitt Race Karting Series (PRKS) 2024 season.

 In response to requests for more track time and an immersive racing experience, Pitt Race is extending race days to a full eight hours. This additional time allows each class to have four on-track sessions and gives competitors ample off-track time between sessions to make strategic kart changes as the day progresses. 

To cultivate a competitive racing environment, the Junior and Senior KA100 classes will now be separated. This division ensures that each driver competes against opponents of similar skill levels, enhancing the overall racing experience and fostering the development of emerging talent.

 In order to grow and encourage the next generation of two-stroke racers and to cater to a broader range of participants, Pitt Race will also be introducing a brand-new class for the 2024 season. The Micro/Mini class is designed to accommodate our youngest racers, offering them a platform to develop their skills and passion for two-stroke karting from an early age. 

Finally, as the excitement builds for the 2024 season, Pitt Race is pleased to unveil the finalized PRKS schedule. The 2024 season contains an exhilarating lineup of races from May all the way to October, with an exciting race in August spanning two days and running concurrently with the ROTAX National.

These changes are part of Pitt Race’s commitment to enhancing PRKS and bringing karters of all ages and skill levels together for exciting racing experiences. Be sure to mark your calendars and prepare for an unforgettable season of high-speed, technical racing on one of the most challenging tracks on the East Coast!
