Parolin USA is expanding its support program for the 2024 season, adding Ben Cruttenden as Technical and Operations Director. Cruttenden is an industry veteran with nearly two decades of experience in North American karting in addition to his early years competing in Europe.

“We are excited to have Ben join us as Technical and Operations Director,” commented Teddy Truchot CEO of Parolin USA. “His resume is exactly what we were looking for, as he knows the product and how to get the best out of our chassis. Ben will be able to provide us with additional support to those racing on the Parolin brand here in North America.”

Cruttenden comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge. The British native raced himself for several years before turning to the industry side of the sport. Ben moved to the United States in the late 2000s, working with a handful of race teams and importers. He then helped to establish the Benik chassis line and operation before moving away to form his own race team with Supertune USA. Over the last year, Cruttenden has worked with Parolin drivers under his race team banner. That relationship has now been extended after being named Technical Director for Parolin USA.

The drivers I have already worked with in the past enjoy racing aboard a Parolin and are able to adjust quickly to what is needed to be fast. I look forward to working on the chassis development along with the new and current Parolin drivers from all the teams within the Parolin USA network in an effort to provide them the best chances at winning races and championships.”

Ben’s influence will extend beyond the 2024 season, as he spearheads the introduction of a new full-size chassis in 2024. Working closely with the factory in Italy, this collaboration aims to deliver ongoing improvements to Parolin chassis, maintaining their competitive edge in karting.
