As interest continues to grow and word gets out for the first-ever AKRA American Sprint Cup Series event – next weekend, March 18-20 at Carolina Motorsports Park – we’ve extended pre-registration through next Tuesday, March 15 in an effort to save as many racers money as possible.

Price is $80.00 per class and $55.00 per driver Friday practice (11am-6pm) through next Tuesday.

Florida‘s Glenn Biggs to serve as AKRA CMP Sprint race director

We’re very pleased to announce Florida’s Glenn Biggs will be making the trip to Kershaw, S.C., next weekend to serve as the official race director of the American Sprint Cup Series’ “Southern Tour” Round 1 presented by Razor Chassis.

Biggs is a well-respected, experienced race director who has directed several national-level series over the years, including the acclaimed Florida Winter Tour and most recently his own Florida Pro Kart Series.

We’re thrilled to have Glenn join the AKRA team at Carolina Motorsports Park as he always directs races in a fair, respectable and professional manner.

Glenn will head up Saturday and Sunday’s racing programs while AKRA officials will direct Friday’s 11am to 6pm practice day.
