In round four of the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) California ProKart Challenge, P1 Engines impressed once again. Drivers powered by P1 Engines brought home four pole positions, two wins and seven podium results en route to another dominating weekend of competition.

“Superkarts! USA puts on a great program and it is awesome to see the competition at the ProKart Challenge,” explained Jesus Vasquez. “Our drivers are doing a great job turning the power we provide them into great results.”

In TaG Senior, more than half of the field would utilize a P1 Engine. Christian Brooks and Austin Elliott dominated all weekend, from qualifying through the main event. In heat one, Brooks qualified on pole and finished second. Elliott qualified second and took the win. In heat two, Brooks and Elliott crossed the line together in a dead heat tied for first. Based on qualifying results, Brooks would be awarded the win. Starting P1 in the final, Brooks took the main event victory with Elliott finishing just behind in second. Phillippe Denes, Mathew England, Nick Ramirez and Nakita Lastochkin finished fifth, seventh, eighth, and tenth respectively.

In TaG Masters, Carlos Calderon scored P1 Engine’s second pole of the weekend and won both of his heat races. Unable to make it a perfect weekend, Calderon came home with a second place result in the day’s final on track session.

A P1 powered kart took each of the top seven spots in qualifying in TaG Rookie. Bryce Stevens, George Diakoumopoulos, Cole Shade, Aiden Kempf, Bianca Bustamante, Alexander Diakoumopoulos, and Charlie Drago were able to accomplish the feat. P1 Engines controlled all of the top five spots through the heats. In the final, Cole Shade took the race win, followed by Bustamante, George Diakoumopoulos, Kempf, and Drago as they rounded out the top-five.

Oliver Calvo dominated in TaG Cadet, taking a pole position, two heat race wins and a second place result in the main event. Tomas Mejia ran well all weekend, finishing the final in P4. Daniel Inzunza qualified second for the final, but contact would result in an early end to his day.

In TaG Junior, Gary Lyles, Dante Yu and Colby Dubato ran in the top-ten all weekend, finishing fifth, ninth and tenth respectively.
