Briggs & Stratton will be donating a New LO206 Engine Package to the series Champion of the Sportsman/Junior LO206 at the end of the year.

Briggs will also donate $400 per race event to be distributed as follows in the Senior LO206 Class.

Whether you finish 1st or 20th, 4 racers will have the same chance to walk away with $100 cash. Here’s how it will be done. At the Podium Ceremony on Sunday afternoon, a pill will be drawn that will coincide with the drivers starting position in the main event on Sunday. That driver and the next 3 will each win $100. So if driver #3 is drawn #3,#4,#5 and #6 will each win the money. If the last driver in the list is reached then it goes back to the #1 position and continues on.

They are in the process of making 3 special year-end awards to be given to the driver that best exhibits great sportsmanship. The classes that will receive the awards are Cadet1, Cadet2, and Tag Junior. The awards will be voted on by the corresponding drivers in each class. That’s correct, this is an award given to a driver by his or her peers.

Each award is a one of a kind custom made sculpture approximately 3 feet wide that can be wall mounted. These will be a coveted award by all racers.

The entries are really going great. We are already at 65 entries as of last night, so we are going to have an excellent turnout. Please do not forget to pre-register and join the fun. This is the only way to get the $60 entry fee per class. So don’t delay, and WKA will have temporary weekend memberships for $5.00.
