Team Vemme Kart/Extreme Karting definitely has reason to celebrate After their strong showing last weekend at the SKUSA Pro Kart Challenge, Button willow race , California. The latest 2015 homologated Vemme America chassis has showed it has the speed to win. The extensive Testing done at the track in Lonato, Brescia definitely proved to be worthwhile as Team Vemme Kart Clutched the TaG Senior second place finish with driver Stepanova Nekeel.

Stepanova Nekeel was ready to take his new Vemme Kart/Extreme Karting chassis to the podium in the First round of the SKUSA regional program. He began the weekend topping the time sheet in final Practice. He continued to challenge the rest of the TaG Senior group although rain changed the strategy.

Nekeel started the main well back and with a drying track weaved his way seamlessly through the incredibly challenging field, coming closer to clutching the first place position. By lap 12 Nekeel was now In a striking position for a first place pass he however decided not to take any chances And secure a Second place finish.

With such a talented, 23 driver strong TaG Senior field, complete with some of the top national talent Drivers the efforts of fellow Vemme Kart/Extreme Karting driver Kale Kunicki are not to be disregarded. Kunicki had a solid qualifying, gaining him a mid-pack starting position for the heats. Setting lap times just a couple tenths off of the extremely talented leaders. An unfortunate decision in the main to keep Kunicki on a dry tire set up would prove to have been unfavorable. Kunicki has come a Long way in a short amount of time, and his speed showed he has a depth of potential.

Ethan McDade Calgary native and a new addition to team VemmeKart showed  a lot of speed early this Was McDade’s first race in shifter and PKC McDade competed in the novice S3 category clocking a pole Position in Qualifying McDade when on to secure top finishes in the heats he would however encounter Bad luck in The main event.

Tag Master again showed a deep talented field Vemme drivers Dave Kunicki and Graham Sims both Drivers showed potential for top finishes, this was Sims first Go Kart race in North America the New Zealand native wasted no time gaining ground in the heat races as he placed his Vemme Kart on the Front of the field for the start of the main event unfortunately he was victim of a bad key switch that Went faulty due to water. Dave Kunicki also showed strong pace in dry conditions with top times in the Order, and again with the wet condition setting in Dave found some difficulties maintaining the early Speed in the main event and a drying track a decision was in order to have Dave on dry tires and as we Learned this particular track did not develop a dry line as we would have expected.
