Superkarts! USA has announced the broadcast dates for the television coverage of the SuperNationals XVIII. Just prior to the November event in Las Vegas, SKUSA confirmed a deal with CBS Sports Network and Torque.TV to film the 18th edition of the SuperNationals, with a goal of extending the partnership into 2015 and beyond.

From the footage Greenlight Television – the production company for the broadcast – captured outside the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino over the November 21-23 weekend, three separate 30-minute episodes were edited and developed to broadcast primetime on CBS Sports Network.

Episode 1: April 15, 2015 – 9:00PM EST
Episode 2: April 22, 2015 – 8:00PM EST
Episode 3: April 29, 2015 – 8:00PM EST

“This is a significant addition for what Superkarts! USA provides for its racers, teams, supporters and karting itself,” stated SKUSA CEO Tom Kutscher. “We’ve been approached many times about putting karting on TV, but I’ve been adamant, waiting for the right opportunity. With Torque.TV and the CBS Sports Network, we have found the right match. The action at this past SuperNationals was exciting, the weather was perfect, and the work the film crew did is amazing. It captures the true feeling of being at the SuperNationals, and how awesome karting is.”

eKartingNews.com’s own Rob Howden handled the play-by-play voiceover for the three episodes, “The quality of this production is the best I’ve seen in my 20 years in the sport, and I know that the viewers are going to love the wide array of camera angles used, such as the aerial shots from the drone. Our sport is portrayed in a very professional fashion, which is a big positive.  This is an important financial investment in the sport by Superkarts! USA and will serve as another crucial point to exposure for karting to the public.”
