Braden Eves has been a driver to watch this past year. The Gahanna, Ohio resident made constant improvements over the course of 2014 to finish second overall in the US Pro Kart Series Junior Leopard Championship and repeated as winner in the Robopong Junior Yamaha Race.

During 2014, Braden started racing the Rotax Max Challenge series.  After earning just 4 punches, Braden entered the Rotax Grand Nationals at Miller Motorsports Park teamed with J3 Competition.  Earning a 5th place qualifying position, Braden consistently ran up front and finished 8th after a penalty on the start dropped his overall position from the final podium spot.

For 2015, Braden has teamed with J3 Competition and will be piloting the Compkart Covert 3.0 for the season.  “I am excited to be driving with J3 Competition on the Compkart.  We showed the chassis has the speed by qualifying 4th at the SuperNationals and would have been fighting for a podium if we had better luck during the heat races.” Eves said, “I am looking forward to our first Florida Winter Tour race at Homestead.”

Watch for Braden in the upcoming Florida Winter Tour race this weekend at the Homestead-Miami Speedway January 23-25, 2015.  The races will be broadcast from www.Floridawintertour.com on January 24 and 25.
