KartSport North America has announced a partnership with Fernando Alonso Racing Karts as the newest United States distributor of FA Kart. KartSport North America has served and will continue to be the exclusive North American importer for Arrow Racing Karts, adding the FA Kart brand to their inventory in an effort to better serve their customer base.

The operation relocated within the new Moorseville Motorplex, offering a large showroom with full retail and service kart shop. Their on-site presence at the North Carolina facility has given them a larger customer base, including a number of professional drivers within the racing industry. In addition to adding FA Karts to their extensive inventory of karting products and services, KartSport NA will also begin to carry a larger selection of OTK parts that will service not only the FA Karts, but also Kosmic and Tony Karts.

Learning of the news, EKN contacted President/Partner of KartSport North America Eric Jones for a more in-depth understanding of the new partnership with FA Kart.

EKN: Is the addition of FA Kart and OTK products more about servicing customers at the track or is setting up a dealer network similar to what you have with the Arrow brand an important part of this new deal?

Eric Jones: This deal started out with the need for KartSport North America to add another brand to our retail store located at Mooresville Motorplex in Mooresville, NC to provide our customers with more than one chassis option. We truly believe in the high quality and top-notch performance of the Arrow brand, but sometimes our customers want something a bit different and appreciate options. Therefore, Justin (Marks), Brandon (Jones) and I felt it necessary to make an addition to our range. Andre Martins of OTK USA reached out to have KartSport North America involved in a larger role with OTK, and the FA distribution looked to be a great fit for both KartSport North America and OTK USA. KartSport NA plans to actively pursue new dealers and welcomes any dealer inquires about potential partnerships.

EKN: Will we see the FA Kart brand part of the strong KartSport North America race team at the national level?

Eric Jones: The KartSport North America race team has been exclusive to Arrow drivers up to this point, but KartSport NA will now provide support for any FA Kart drivers wanting to run under the team tent. KartSport NA is a former eKartingNews.com Team of the Year and we are a great fit for drivers and families looking to receive technical support at all levels of the sport.

EKN: Are there thoughts to adding any more chassis brands to the KartSport North America stable in the future?

Eric Jones: No. That is not something that you will likely see in the future. With the addition of the FA Kart distribution, KartSport NA has a complete line-up of one of the top U.S. performing brands in Arrow, and the top-selling global brand in FA Kart and OTK. We will continue to focus our time and budget into the continued sales and development of these two brands.
