After 10 laps, a six kart lead group has formed with:

0
4
20
11
311
02

The Rotax of Howard seems to be hitting the rev-limiter mid-straight but gains a ton of time in the back section.

L13 - Wheldon to the lead.

Front three have pulled away with Wheldon, Howard, and Anderson. O'Rourke and Knueven running fourth and fifth with Daly running a couple ticks back in sixth.

Driver on the move is Jason Moore (#31) up to tenth from 26th.

Fast lap of the race is a 1:05.744 by Wheldon on lap 16.

first round of pit stops are completed, some of the Rotax entries came in early. Lap 49 Wheldon pitted, L53 Anderson, Knueven, and Batt pitted. Anderson was longest in pit lane. L54 Howard and O'Rourke pitted and the #20 gained time on the zero. L58 Daly pitted. All pit stops were clean with no issues.

The running order is now:

0
20
4
311
02
421
11

Carpenter off after just a few laps, brought back in and restarted, not sure what the issue was yet.

Talking with a number of the front drivers after the opening stint, they are shocked at the pace of the race thus far. Running 1:05-1:06 lap times throughout the first 50 laps is a quick pace.

After 70 laps, only 8 teams remain on the lead lap, including #09 AB Racing and #199 RacetoaDomain.com

Did Vision and Lewis get into each other? They both dropped down the order at the same time...

No, Carpenter went off on his own and could not get the engine started again. Lewis went off at a different spot.
