The 4-cycle classes were using different wheels sizes on the
left and right sides. |

I would just like to thank all of the competitors for a near-flawless weekend of racing. The huge crowds of spectators really got a great show this year. Yes, there were some "whoop ass" victories, but most were as a result of 2nd and 3rd getting tangled along the way.
I also want to commend the Junior drivers for an awesome job on and off the track. Most of you know we have a history there ... but this year's drivers proved that they belong as much as anyone else.
As for TAG, I'm not getting in the middle of the endless motor debate. But how about a little love for the driver? Mack McCormack drove the wheels off against a talented field and the largest of the weekend at 32 entries. I do have to say it was tough seeing Michelle Bumgarner and Kyle Erdmann watching from the stands after the TAG battles they have had the last few years. Hopefully they will be back at it soon.
Terry Riggins and his officials, Marty Casey and the tech crew, and especially the drivers did an exceptional job of keeping things moving and on time. Racing finished a few minutes ahead of schedule.
And an awesome group from Future Farmers of America got about 2,000 bales of straw reloaded in record time, allowing us to stay ahead of our tear-down schedule all night long. For the first time in 16 years, I was home before midnight (barely) on Sunday night.
It was also a pleasure to work with Phil DeLaO, Kevin Williams and everyone at Championship Karting International.
And of course thanks to our organizing committee, sponsors and the approximately 200 volunteers that make this happen every year. We will now relax and recover but we have some exciting things in the works for 2011 that we hope to be able to announce in the next couple of months.
Thanks to everyone for their continued support of "The Rock." Mark your calendar for Sept. 3-4, 2011. |

To Dixon: Great race with you three in particular. Enjoyed the HD cam. Looked like the draft was a factor on that track. _________________ mark waller |

| There are worse things that can and usually do happen to the sonik. That was great footage. That pass and pass back in front of you was awesome. Maybe we'll see you at Daytona. |
