I'm contemplating getting an Animal for a laydown, for which I might trade a fresh, blueprinted Fleming KT100. I'm a complete 4-cycle novice, but what might constitute a reasonable deal like this? Box stock, w/or w/o exhaust, engine time, etc.
I would put the market value of the Yamaha at ~$700. _________________ Team Stooge 66

All depends on rules. If Box stock means as it does here, take out of box and race. You can buy new animal for $459, with $40 gift card from Faster Motors, use that for breather bypass system or tools. Then clutch , motor mount, pipe, and air filter. I have a box stock air filter to motor mount, even chain for $750, all new, shipped to my door.
I know I really did not answer your question directly, but there a lot of variables. |
