For all of you that came to Roebling Road this weekend I want to personally thank you. The level of racing on the track was second to none that I have seen in recent years. With YOUR cooperation, the dedication of the SKC volunteers and the efficiency of the Roebling Road employees we were able to complete the Sunday Race Schedule and beat the rain that was surely coming when we all convened on Sunday morning.

What you guys and gals helped me achieve on Sunday was tremendous. I can't ever recall EVERY single race group being pre-gridded 5-10 minutes early ALL DAY long.

It made me smile as a WKA and SKC member to see the efforts of my fellow racers. It made me very proud as a Race Director to see what you guys accomplished all weekend long.

I only hope that you all had only 10% as much fun as the amount of cooperation and understanding you gave me!

Would love to see all of you at our next SKC race in February.

HATS OFF TO YOU!

+1 for the Race Director aka Master Chef and his crew of hardworking racetrack miscreants, they made it all happen the way it went down and we are grateful for all they accomplished for the drivers. Very Happy

I always feel safer during the races when I know that a real group of professionals are in charge of officiating the race and looking out for all the drivers on track.

As a post-race weekend reward for running a first class National @ Roebling, next time we go hog hunting, I am going to set you up with one of my FLIR thermal weapon scopes.... Razz Very Happy

Nick,

I can only say this in addition-

There was some of the best and closest racing in multiple classes I have seen in a while. Some races were even decided in the tech area for just plain bad luck. The winner in one of the Briggs classes was tossed for a muffler that fell off.... No one complained or made a scene. I have to thank all of the racers that raced with us for clean, close and respectful racing.

See you at the next WKA/SKC event.

Dominic

Nick: You did such an awesome job, I didn't even realize until just now that you were the race director for the weekend. Seriously. After 28 years of white collar work experience and graduate degree at Georgetown, I've learned one sure fire way to spot outstanding management......the best managers and most efficient operations tend to be invisible. The race operations this weekend were just that--seemless.

Hat's off to you, Dom, Jackie, Jeff, Mark, Larry and all the folks who's names I'm unitentionally ommitting.

Just wish I was retired, diesel was cheaper and you guys weren't so damn far away so I could do it a LOT more often.

George
