Bob, in PA you have the right to take your vehicle where you want when it comes to body repairs. My wife has had a few instances (hit a deer, hood got hit by fallen power lines from semi in front of her, weedwhacker fell from hook in garage and dented ddor). A good friend works at a body shop and his work is amazing so I take my vehicles there. After one incident the insurance company told me to get 3 estimates. I talked to Lorne and he told me that you only need one and it can be from the place you would like to have repair it. I got an estimate from him and told the insurance company that they would be doing the repairs. They didn't argue with me at all. Wrote me the check (written to me).

On another note, my wife's 2006 Jeep Commander (we bought it new) has a 30,000 mile service that comes with a $600 bill. It includes all fluid changes (including transfer case, front and rear diffs), plugs, and i think that might be it. I'm taking it in for the 57,000 mile service this week but the 60,000 mile I think will be $600 again. Can't wait!
