I read on one of the F-1 sites that Alonso by request of his sponsor Santander had his thumbs insured for 10 million $$$ .I was wondering If anyone read that story. ? Seems like I recall Liberace having his fingers insured for 5 million $$$ and a few dancers / BETTY GRABLE ? having taken out those type policies thru LLoyds of London ? Not trying to turn this to a PORN topic but what is the going rate for body parts today ? The article never mentioned a cost factor .Has anyone heard of any other Drivers doing this ? _________________ Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways totally worn out, shouting, "Holy **** what a ride!!!". |

Slightly off topic, but when the elevators close, I stop it with my foot, not my hand.. I can still type with a foot missing.
I heard J-Lo had a body part insured, but not sure how much those things go for these days.
$10 million won't cover one year of Alonso's salary. _________________ http://teamwishbone.com

| It is lots cheaper to insure just one body part instead of buying a disability policy that is broad enough to cover all injuries that would preclude you from your making a living. . |
