I just got my World Formula and was wondering if this oil is fine to perform the break in, is a Motul 3000 20W50
http://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo/565253/Lubricants/4-Stroke-Oil/Motul/3000-20w50-4T
Can't find any 30W or similar, only for cars
Not sure if I got it right about the break in procedure, first I need to run on the stand for 5-8min and then let it cool, do it a couple times 2 or 3, empty the oil and put new oil, then on the track run it for 15min at less than 6000RPM, do it 2 times, then again empty oil put new oil and is ready, I'm I correct? do I miss something? or is there a better way to perform the break in.
Any other suggestions about taking care of the engine would be gladly welcome.
Appreciate in advance your commments |

I suggest that you follow B&S break-in procedures. This can be found in your little manual. _________________ Race Grandpa

I don't like running on the stand, any engine needs a load on it to seat the rings properly.
Drive it like ya stole it
Just don't try to do anything too fancy and check all your fasteners for the first few runs.... _________________ John Matthews

More emphasis needed
check ALL of your fasteners for the first few runs....
and I would suggest every time you go to the track
My lower two crankcase (side) cover bolts fell out after only 1 hour on the engine. Oil all over the place. STUPID ME _________________ Race Grandpa
