Just a reminder to get those registrations in for the Rock Island Grand Prix. You lose the price break if postmarked after Aug. 17. Entries are up this year overall, but lagging a bit in the controlled class (weights for reeds, piston ports and Yamahas -- clutch or direct drive) and in the can classes (we run 3 hole and 4 hole). And don't forget there's a new pro Rotax Max race at Rock Island this year !!

To all HPV drivers.

We convinced Roger to add the HPV class for this years event. We have a contingent from South Bend Raceway Park making the trip. With the growth of the HPV classes in the Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin areas there is no reason we shouldn't fill it up. Come join us. Since Elkhart, this has become the premier street race event in this part of the country. Anyone who has never experienced the atmosphere of this type of event is missing something in their racing carreer.
