| I have to disagree, Just like in racing we need to keep the # of subsections (cl***es)down. I like the minamal approach. JMO |

Yup. I agree. The Max peeolple should have their own board. Most of the Max-oids I know seem to agree.

I would love to see a Max section as a Max Driver, but I think Chuck may be right on this one. The Max is a Two-Cycle and should be likely lumped in with the Two-Cycle karts. We deserve no more special treatment than any other Two-Cycle cl***. And if you give us our own group then you may offend others...

Excellent pictures Chuck! That picture of the 39-6-31 was at the exit of the Monza I think? If so, that was just before Brandon (#6) and I drafted past William (#39)BIG TIME....it was the best moment I have had yet in the Max. I was so far up under Brandon's bumper it pushed his number plate horizontal!

If we get our own subsection, then Parilla will need one, then HPV, then Direct Drive Yamaha, etc., etc. Before long this place will look like a typical U.S. Kart race. 40 different classes with (4) karts in each class. It worked just fine with Pete's site. And there is a search function that will allow you to find posts containing 'Rotax' in the title or the text.

I would like to see a seperate Rotax Max section as suggested. It will be much easier locating information specific to the Rotax without mulling through the numerous 100cc posts. A Rotax folder should be a permanet subsection.

Well Jeez, Chad, we're still in 'test' mode and we already have posts telling people to go elsewhere!
Okay, okay, we'll have a Rotax forum, please, please don't go!!
As we're building this, we obviously want to have forums that will get used, and forums that make sense to be a breakout from any sort of parent forum. So, keep giving us your feedback. That will help us make the right decision.

| I'd like to see a Rotax section myself, but I would wait until there is enough traffic to justify it first. I have no doubt that the classes will grow. My local shop has sold over 12 Rotax's total and we get anywhere from 5-8 racers on any given weekend. Quite a few people have decided to still wait and see what happens, and more had already committed to their present class and will go Rotax next year. I think the Heavy and Junior classes will also help stimulate interest. It truly is nice to only have to worry mostly about chassis setup. Tire wear is a big issue here with a set lasting about 50 laps. That will also have to be addressed |
