Chaz,
What do IKF rules have to do with Rotax Max?

Pete,
Put on a yellow jacket and yell at this guy? No way. He was putting on too good a show. He'd drive with his left hand, mess with the carb with his right, all the while he'd bounce up and down in his seat trying to get the kart to hook up. A truly great show. He was busier than a one legged cat in a sandbox. |

Randy,
It was just a weak attempt at humor. I was referring to the Budweiser commercial where the guy with the yellow jacket thinks he`s cool when he says, "No, what are YOU doing?"

| I have done the same thing when I had the wrong jetting. The engine misfires really bad but as soon as you pull the choke it clears and away you go. It is a quick fix that allows you to keep racing. |

Stephen,
When you used the choke trick was your jetting too fat or too lean? |

| Too lean I would guess. I use the choke lever to check if I have gone too far on the jetting. When running a high speed pull the choke lever. If it clears out and gains revs, it's lean. If it bogs down you are jetted rich. |

I saw that HHC has a 2 jet adjustable carb retrofit for the MAX. Not sure on price and availability though. Saw it in the Rigetti Ridolphi catalog. |
