'99 C5 hatch, magnetic red, 6-speed.
Looks like this one but mine has better wheels.
.
Got it in November, should have it paid off in time for the karting season. _________________ "If you're still in full control, you're not going fast enough" - Fred Frame |

No, but mine came with a rather hideous nylon nose cover and the worst gearlever/handbrake combo that can be found. _________________ "If you're still in full control, you're not going fast enough" - Fred Frame |

Nope I do NOT have one BUT never really cared for the modern versions . My brother-in-law has a 64 or 66 Split window old style . _________________ Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways totally worn out, shouting, "Holy **** what a ride!!!". |

Split window was '63 only, as I recall. Arkus didn't like it _________________ Richard

Melissa came in as I was looking at this and was like 'oh, h*&^ no - you're not going to do that' and then she saw the price and said 'nevermind, you'd NEVER spend that much money on ANYthing'. hehehe Guilty as charged... LOL
There really isn't a better deal when it comes to cars like this. As much as I'd prefer a return to a ten-inch-shorter C4 wheelbase, there's really something to be said for a car with ~650hp. It *is* a bit tricky to fit a C6 through a tight corner quickly. It's also tough to get past the legacy of bald guys with huge medallions and half-unbuttoned shirts. Doing so rewards one with a genuinely amazing car.
I'm looking at the ashtray my grandfather got when taking delivery at the St. Louis plant in '65. I wish that car was still in the family. (and the '64 Lotus Seven, and the '66 Mustang Convertible, and the '67 356B and the '69 Cessna 182 and the...........) |

I worked for a Corvette school that had 4 ZR1's and a bunch of Z06's and I have to say they are some of the most impressive street cars I've ever driven. Unlike most "sports cars" they are actually very well balanced and don't have too much understeer. In fact there were a few of the schools cars that were so well balanced you could drive them the same way you would drive a proper race car. Needless to say I'm a big Corvette fan after driving them.
