Frankie,
Yep that is the Man Cup data that I was looking for, Actually I'm amazed.
Now!! I would love to see the same data applied to the Road Race guys. Sorry for asking. _________________ Greg Wright

Greg,
Let me figure out where to pull the data from. I grabbed the mfg info off the qual. results posted here on EKN's resluts page.
Since the RR event's don't qualify, I can't get the total entries / drivers off Sissy's posted results, she's only showing top five / top ten. I may have to grab the info off from MY-LAPS, or perhaps WKA's site has full results showing all drivers by class.
I'm also intrested in seeing how many "drivers" entered the roadraces, compared to mfg cups 222..
I found the mfg info interesting. When you hear someone say "500+ entries", it sounds like ton of karts. Understanding that number comes from 220 some drivers puts a different shake on things. I thought there would be more drivers then that, and also thought there would be more sr's then jr's.
Give me a bit and I'll put something together on the rr races. Probably in the morning though.
I just got the garage warmed up, I'm adding torsion bars to my older CRG because I'm too cheap to buy a new chassis.. _________________ Frankie

And Clark, yes I too am somewhat amazed that the Jrs outnumbered the Srs in the Man Cup event, I don't believe that was the case last year.

Greg,
I think the Jrs. (Junior Sportsman/Juniors) have outnumbered the Seniors for a while at the Man Cup.

Another interesting stat to mull around from Frankie's numbers:
333 Junior entries in 9 classes - average of 37 per class
222 Senior entries in 11 classes - average of 20 per class |

Another fact
Seniors 2.176 entries per driver
Junior 2.775 entries per driver
More classes to run for Seniors.
Means Juniors are running any class they fit in and Seniors are more selective. |

Or it might mean that Daddy or Grandpa is footing the bill for the Jrs. while in most cases, the Srs. have to pay their own way. _________________ Keep on kartin' llb.

I wonder if any are willing to adopt?
I’ll gladly take out the trash, bring in the mail and paper, mow the lawn, shovel snow, and do dishes… You know, all those things that I thought were such a pain back then.
I was told… If I would have only listened… _________________ Frankie
