Take the front brakes off and run Yamaha Masters to learn the techniques needed to be fast in sprint racing. It will be much easier to work on your driving style and become a smooth and fast driver in Yamaha. _________________ ART Grand Prix America Team Manager

| Depending on where you live you could run TAG masters with front brakes under WKA rules. At Dousman here we have a TON of TAG masters and they all run for fun. Some are as slow as a SSX can and some are as fast as TAG senior. They all have a blast. A PRD is cheep fast fun. |

Your best bet would be to join the class with the most entries. That way you'll likely have someone to chase/race with no matter what your skill level. If the numbers at etown are any indication, I'd guess tag masters will have the largest field for you. Your best bet is to go to the first few races and see how many entries are in each class.
Yamaha can would teach you the most about driving technique but I'm not sure if the numbers are there. _________________ -Will

Doug,
Sounds like you're a perfect candidate for Briggs World Formula with Todd:

Even includes the electric start! No idea about fitting the inboard drive to your kart but if you search the Briggs and 4 cycle forums you'll find lots of solutions if the rear cross bar or seat supports interfere. _________________ Frank

| There are a few guys who run yammie at njmp, but in the past the tag class and masters class has been the biggest class run there. Thanks to a couple of the tag racers we have our own website for njmp, it has all the rules and schedules. www.njkarting.org |

Bring it over to my house, I'll put a Rotax on it.
