| By main season, do you mean the "ProTour" events? That does suck for an under 30 driver with an ICC, no class for you. |

I agree, I get the stock moto push but that is hard to get my head around that you can't race ICC if your under 30. |

With regards to our class structure, our focus has shifted towards the Spec Honda program, but there have always been option classes that we would run based on the region.
For example, we ran HPVII Jr in our ProKart NorCal series that we did not run in our ProKart SoCal series. KF2 was run in SoCal.
What that means is if there is a renewed interest in any of the ICC classes (SuperPro or G1) there is still a possibility for them to be added back as option classes. But from what we saw during both PKC series last year, the interest has moved to the Honda program.
I can't comment on our upcoming Pro Tour but I am sure if enough people expressed interest and emailed info@superkartsusa.com to let Tom and Pattie know that it could possibly be included. _________________ www.dromophotos.com |

I found this online and I found it to be rather interesting, sounds like the flood gates have opened and more European and F1 drivers will probably show up for SuperNats 2010..
Listen to what the stars at the Supernats had to say to the roving reporter Alan Dove about how tough it is for F1 and Indy drivers to step up to racing karts against the best!
http://www.properkarting.com/karting1-podcast/supernats-2009.mp3
In this MEGA Podcast Alan speaks to:
1. Sebastien Buemi -F1 driver for Torro Rosso racing an Intrepid in Super Pro KZ2 class
2. Dan Wheldon – Indy Car Champion and Indy 500 winer racig in TaG
3. Gary Catt – Works factory Tony Kart driver racing in Super Pro KZ2
4. David Fore – Works CRG driver and multiple world karting champion racing Super ProKZ2
5. Peter De Bruijn – 1980 karting world champion and winner again in 2005 as team manager
6. Danillo Rossi – 1997 karting world champion with own range of DR karts
7. Gary Carlton – The USA’s man in europe, works CRG driver
8. Dave Sera – Top Aussie racer famous for monster lock ups
9. Michelle Bumgarner – Raced worldwide at highest levels
10. Jake Dennis – Top Bristish KF3 Racing Steps racer |

| informative, insightful interviews by Alan Dove--well worth the listening time. Sounds like the "foreigners" enjoyed this very special "CAR PARK" race--a special tip of the hat to Indianapolis' Michelle Bumgarner's interview and her Margay chassis performance--sure hope she gets that Firestne Indy Lights opportunity in 2010; she certainly has what it takes! |

I do not know this is the right place but I did not find a better one... I have a question to people that are may be involved in the technical inspections or to well-informed people from the Supernats...
There are some rumors that there was a discussion about legality of the very successful Intrepid chassis in Vegas. Looks like they used some tubing from a kind of "stainless steel" what is not magnetic or very less magnetic. CIK-rules say it has to be "magnetic steel". I've heard CIK is working on a correct definition for "magnetic" to stop this way of development. Does anybody know a little bit more? |

I bought the superpro Winning "Bas Lammers" kart from Champion Racing right after the main event. I had heard that same rumer and put a magnet to the frame and it stuck. just like the other 5 or 6 Intreoid karts I have owned. Its just a rumer because the Intrepid team kicked everyones ---. One thing bad about winning races is everyone thinks you gotta cheat to do it.
Thanks

| Unfortunately it's not a rumer - we have had a big exhibition here In Germany, I checked both the KF and KZ chassis with a small magnet from the speed sensors - the B1-2-3 tubes were fine (magnetic), the B4-5 (side tubes) for sure not... |

But I own the actual chassis that won the Supernats and it is not that way.

| Ok, that's your point - but still there is a reason for rumers and still I found two 2010 chassis with non-magnetic tubing... May be some more information from different people? |

Can someone explain the difference between what the benefits would be for magnetic chassis vs non magnetic chassis? I'm assuming it is a material choice used to make the chassis but I would like to be sure.
Thanks |

Seems like the magnetic ones have a very clear cut advantage!
