Interesting: FWT isn't running KF this year.

I've never been to FWT so clearly my opinion is pretty worthless, but I think it's too bad they added "Pro Rotax". It would seem that it'll just cannibalize the competition in the normal Senior class during the Rotax weekend. ... On the other hand, "Pro Rotax" might not get to go to Worlds (assumption), so maybe there won't be that many in "Pro Rotax"?
Either way, I'm sure it'll continue to be a great event. _________________ Aluminos |

| aren't the formula classes run on a later weekend than the rmc classes at fwt? if that's the case, along with rotax pro not being a qualifier, then i could see why fwt would think that there wouldn't be a big entry drain from running both. |

But it's still difficult to run both weekends of competition. _________________ Aluminos |

Carlos,
I personally like what Bill's done with the class structure.
The Senior TAG classes are great in my opinion with the Pro Rotax and IAME Senior. You'll cover all the younger guys.
Personally wish I could afford to run the TAG Heavy/Masters class, it's nice to see a promoter having a class for the heavier and/or older guys.

My guess is it will be like last years Pro Shifter. Where they pay money to the winner. Hence the "Pro" term. |

I don't understand why Bill does all the promotion on KF last year, now he drops it? Go figure.
Pro Rotax should be kept with the Rotax weekend. |

| I would imagine if someone wanted to know about FWT and KF, they could simply email Bill and ask rather than speculate here ... |

The idea of the thread was not to bash FWT because they changed their class structure. Let's have a health discussion about *karting*. _________________ Aluminos |
