Can someone please give me a starting point on the carbureator adjustments on an Animal. I race roadcourses in the midwest and we run a spec. fuel. I'm just not sure where I should have them set.

Also, the breather or drain on the bottom of my carb is constantly dripping fuel after I have the engine running. Why is that happening?

Second problem first, you either need to set the float level, replace the inlet needle, or seat.

Then you can check out:

http://www.briggsracing.com/racing_engines/animal/animal_carb-tuning.pdf

That'll get you in the ballpark for your carb settings, once you get close (make sure you're not trying to run methanol jets with gas or vise/versa) you can ask more questions here or on Bob's 4 cycle.

Good luck,
