Whats the latest news on the B/V oil? The word on the street is that the oil has been discontinued. I have been buying it from APS without problem. Since switching to this oil our engine related problems have been minimized. Don't know if this is just a rumor but I would like to know more so I can decide on which way to go.

I haven't heard any announcement of this, I too have used the Briggs oil with great sucess but if you search Bob's 4 cycle you'll find lots of info on not mixing different oils, etc. I haven't seen any rumors there but you never know, my distributor hasn't told me anything either.

I do know however from speaking with them that Briggs has way more info about karting oils than they can share due to legal issues. It wouldn't surprise me if they choose to limit their liability and pull a perfectly good product rather than have their reputation messed up by folks doing strange things with oil.

You can send a PM to Dave Klaus at Briggs and he should be able to give a definitive answer.

Thanks,
