but many are pointing to the Thursday practice session that they believe is adding an unnecessary cost to participating.

Thursday needs to go away in WKA and CKI. It adds to much cost and time to what MOST People do for a hobby.

I know we had planned on running, but Kristine is having Gall Blader problems and now removal next week, and the rough track caused her a lot of problems when we did the Merlin test last week.

You are right, the layout is fantastic.

Definitely a five star configuration and the blind apex off camber left coming down the hill has to be one of the more challenging corners in all of kartoing.

The bumps are unacceptable. Not consistent with a national race or a facility like Road America.

Robby...they didn't have the transponders on today...any times were purely from mechanics' watches.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's qualifying. We'll be posting the immediate top-10s, as usual.

EKN Trackside Live: Saturday Morning Intro

Good morning, race fans -

Things are now underway here at the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex after a morning driver's meeting. The karts are now on-track for practice, as are the road racers on the big track. We'll have the immediate top-10 from all the sessions here in the official forum thread, beginning with qualifying. After a little light rain that arrived in the evening, the day has dawned sunny and cool, with an expected high of 78 degrees. My forecast software is calling for potential rain on Sunday, see we'll keep an eye on that.

Stay tuned as qualifying will begin shortly!
