Mr Cole - tornados are a lot faster than 60mph. You will be fine!
Is Bristol Gunderson racing in the 80cc shifter class? If so go Bristol!!!

| Just for clarification--just where in the heck is Decatur, Texas--in relation to Dalls, Houston, Austin--cities I've been to. And no, I don't want to dig out an Atlas. Will anyone respond? |

Good morning from Texas. Most everyone survived the severe storms that rolled through last night and again in the early hours of the day. I'm locked into viewing the weather as there are more scattered thunderstorms in the area.
On a sad note, a kart was taken last night despite police security and locked gates at the facility. The kart is a Rocket kart with blue CIK bodywork and a Yamaha engine with the #11 on it. Either someone is playing a joke or the kart was stolen despite the security on site.
If anyone knows of the whereabouts of the kart, please contact Craig McLain at 832.689.7332 _________________ David Cole

Lets hope the worst of storms are over and the cooler weather prevails. Lost power just after posting yesterday. It went from dead calm to major storm in about 30 seconds. Could see a funnel cloud about 3 miles south in Allen. Glad to hear everyone got through OK, sad to hear of the stolen kart.
I may make it out today, if not, Derek & I will be out on Saturday. _________________ John Denman

Things are delayed today as track cleanup continues after mud settled on the track surface following the heavy storms that rolled through last night. We'll keep you updated when the track opens up. _________________ David Cole

I hope someone is playing a joke with the missing kart. If not I hope some Texas justice comes to the G.D.P.O.S. theives. Maybe Dorothy and Toto are cruising it down the Yellow Brick Road, since there were tornadoes around. Had to roll my own eyes since that was kind of lame. Good luck to the races, and good luck to the owner of the "MIA" kart. |
