| Check out Speedtv.com and go to the auto racing section for indy cars--think you will enjoy this article on Ryan at Road America on a kart. Interesting. |

Linda, to add to your post:
To put the power in perspective, Ryan at one point spun out in the infield and never lifted. Halfway through his spin you couldn't see him because of the tire smoke. He never missed a beat and blasted through the smoke like an F14 through a cloud. The chassis, completely overpowered and not balanced, even with the spinout he was over 3 SECONDS faster than the fastest 125cc shifter lap ever turned on the track.

| That's fantastic Ryan for you--looks good in his IZOD attire and can drive the heck out of anything! I, too, would love to see some video--at Iowa, I'm going to ask him about his amazing Road America adventure. Ok, CKI, here's another class for you--just kidding! |

The only clip I have that is small enough is about 3 megs of the kart coming through a single corner.
If someone knows how to post it let me know and I'll gladly forward it. |

Eric, Thanks for getting this uploaded.
The kart was a French manufacturer called 'Go-kart'. It was designed for our V-twin which was previously a stock class in Europe. Pump this kind of HP through it and the chassis sounds like it is screaming for mercy.
-laughing-
Look closely and the line around the track is layed out in rubber. |

Hmm?
75 hp & 9,300 rpm from a 600cc "industrial" V twin Briggs running stock block, crank, heads , rockers etc ...????
.....There has to be more to it !.......... _________________ Chad

Parts started as stock parts, but are highly modified, this is not a stock engine _________________ Bob Vehring

So Bob, can we look forward to a "kit" for the Mod 35 ?
Currently we are looking at $4-$5 k for a <40hp 4 stroke from Europe.
A "detuned" 50 hp version of this B&S motor should find a healthy market, .......if it can be priced reasonably ( < $3 k ?) _________________ Chad

I swear, Honestly, I know nothing, I was just walking along looking for my lost golf ball and suddenly, out of nowhere comes the fire breathing, tire smoking monster, my caddy is still at the top of a tree.
Ok really I don't know of any plans, but if you wanted to start a campaign, well, ya do have Dave here. He's the man _________________ Bob Vehring

OK then Bob...its over to Dave... How about a more powerful 4 stroke from B&S to give the Europeans something to think about ?
The WF motor was a great concept, complete package ready to run out of the box, so how about something similar based on either the V twin or maybe the 305 ??.. 30-40 hp TaG @ $2 k would be sweet ! _________________ Chad
