Hi Rob!
Please tell Steven Spielberg (a.k.a. David Cole) that the video is very cool! Jim's correct (Hi Jim!), it is a bit grainy but very smooth.
Thanks for the awesome coverage! We just tuned in and we are really enjoying it!
I hope you say "Book It" during the Sr. National race. I need my fix... _________________ Kim Hindman

Thanks Kim. And that 'Book It' for Buckwalter was for you.
David has upped the video quality, so please give us the update after the next race to see how increased quality effects the streaming. _________________ Rob Howden

Excellent job on the video considering the limitations.
It looks like you're only able to stream about 128K so cutting FPS was the right choice. We've been playing with satellite uplinks on some of our trucks, we only get 768K but thats pretty pricey.
Keep up the fabulous work.
Would love to see Rock Island and the SuperNats at 1MB and maybe a few cameras. Anything cooking for that? _________________ John Denman

Thanks for the comments and the input, John. It is very much appreciated.
We're learning a lot and David is doing as much research as he can while still putting in his regular hours on the site. We appreciate any input from the experts. I think this will be really good for the sport and I know that the parents and family at home really appreciate the ability to watch the action from home. _________________ Rob Howden
Zero KF2 entries? Is that correct?
That is correct. There was much discussion among the KF2 crowd, and they agreed to race prokart in san diego instead. |
