This weekend marks the beginning of a new era in the WKA Gold Cup Series. Set for the Lowe's Motor Speedway, the new Bully Clutches Gold Cup Series will kick off the 2009 season. 18 divisions along with special event classes will contest the opening round in Concord, NC.
4-cycle racer Steven Kilsdonk will assist EKN to cover the event with a preview of the weekend's event along with a post-race report. Drivers competing in Lowes will also be producing Driver Blogs throughout the event, including Ryan Phillips, Kaytlyn Fauci, and others.
Please leave your comments or updates on the event here and remember to follow the forum guidelines. _________________ David Cole

Kudos to "Scuba" Steve Kilsdonk for his Gold Cup preview. Really makes me miss the Gold Cup. I hope they continue the money race all season - at least for New Castle
It will be interesting to follow the blogs too. Kaytlyn and Ryan have both been fun to watch grow up. _________________ Craig H. Lintner |

There will be a 4-Cycle OPEN demo race right after the driver's meeting on Saturday, so come check out the thunder!
Mike Clements has worked real hard to get that demo race together, but unfortunately has been sideline for this weekend due to surgery, but we're still looking forward to a good show.
Perhaps we can talk WKA into letting the OPEN back in...
If anyone's interested in entering "at the gate", NO TECH other than safety, but good attitude is important -- it's just a demo race for no prizes, the simple fun of running an open on a good track. PM me for more info...
