| I got a new Drack EV3 and got it all hooked up and working but when I plugged the download cable into my USB port, Windows98 came on and "detected new hardware" and searhed for drivers but couldn't find one. Anyone know how to configure the port or where the driver is located to make it work with the EV3? Thanks. |

OK, thanks to Roger Caddell emailing me at something like 4:30 AM his time this morning...I have this taken care of. So just for the future and having something posted on this site I want to post Roger's info he sent to me:
"There is a folder created with the 1.02.08 install that is called USB_DRIVER and contains the attached files. The file called "Installation_of_usb_driver.txt" holds the directions that must be followed in order for the USB ports to function correctly."
Roger Caddell
Sure enough when you go into Windows explorer and go to the AIM folder there is everything there you need to install this driver. There is a text file that has good step by step instructions and it works fine.
Much thanks to Roger for the info. He has really been helpful in the past also with good info on Drack, etc. Probably a good dealer to deal with!! Thanks. |
