Does the video appear on the live timing website only when they're running? Or do I have the wrong site?

You're on the right site. Click the "Race Control" logo on the top left. I think it's frozen from the last frame of the day now.

Thanks! This link looks like it'll be good tomorrow too: Live Video

Info is a bit late but avoid Alitalia when flying to Italy, especially if you have to transfer in Rome. If you must fly Alitalia do not check a bag.

Air France is a better alternative...Paris / CDG is a mess and their is a slight probability your bag will go missing in Paris, but you should get to your destination on time.

Lufthansa is the best alternative but it is pricey.

Blake Choquer who is wrenching for Phil Arscott in Senior Max has a blog from the World finals. He says that Phil and Clayton are the 2 fastest American senior max's right now and looking pretty good compared to the competition. Here is the link to his blog

Before the other night I thought 37 seconds was a pretty good time to dismount ONE tyre.

I was doing a little calculation in my head and figured is Wes charged $25 per set to dismount/mount, even if he rested for 20 seconds afterwards he'd make over 3 million dollars a year. Perhaps he should re-negotiate his contract!

The driver's meeting just finished up and we're about to head out on to the track.

On the official Rotax website, you'll find my stories as well as some large Flash photo galleries. It will take a bit of time before the galleries are up. The internet here is painfully slow but we're all used to that now.

Ciao!

Looks like Clayton only got two laps in. He sits near the bottom now. Wes and Garrison are doing alright though.

Not a bad start to the weekend for the North American contingent. They'll certainly have to step it up in the heat races to work their way closer to the front for the Prefinal.

I'd love to hear from the racers as to how they're doing...are you moving in the right direction?
