| It was a joy to see you race in Vegas--your driving truly makes you number l--absolutely awesome! If F1 is not in your future plans, I sure hope you contact those teams in Indianapolis, Indiana (Firestone Indy Lights and then Indy Cars--your driving, your looks, your personality make you a natural winner, young man--I wish you the very best in whatever you do! Years ago, Pantano and Juarno Trulli raced their karts in Charlotte, North Carolina--and we all know where they are now! |

Welcome to EKN, Jonathan. Don't worry about your English. I was and remain very impressed with your desire to communicate with us.
Congratulations on a successful SuperNationals! It was a pleasure speaking with you in the podium and announcing your performance. Enjoy the $10,000 and that awesome Oakley watch. You deserve them both. _________________ Rob Howden

I was at the drag races in Vegas and John Force missed the drivers meeting. The race director put him back 4 spots. Force was so mad, he did a back flip, front flip, triple gainer and scaled a 8 foot fence with only one hand. But I still love his suit.

| Jonathon you have made many new fans! Congratulations on a superb drive! Congratulations to Tom and so many that worked so hard to make the event a success. I am guessing that I and many others are already making plans to come and watch the races next year let alone race in it! We have so much to be thankful for, in the karting community, Thanks to all the workers who we can not race without! |

| What a great race, it was nice being back in the seat after since a long layoff. I have to say the competition was great but the karting community is truely a great one. I also want to say it was great to see so many teams in our shirts. I truely hope to help with growing a more professional look for the sport. |

Steve thanks for the compliments on the shirts glad that you liked them. The officials for Pro Kart Challenge will be wearing them for next season as well.
I was great to be competitive, if we had not lost a clutch we would have had a chance at a podium. But I guess I shouldnt be so greedy since we havent raced in 5 yrs. My first heat race in 5 yrs was on friday night and only my 3rd day in a kart as well. If was alot of fun, alot of people were telling me that the guys in G1 are a rough driving bunch but I really enjoyed racing with them everyone drove well and raced clean. Thanks to everyone. |

I wanted to send out a huge THANK YOU to Tom and Patty Kutscher, The National Guard, Oakley and the entire SKUSA team for putting on a truly AWESOME event! WOW……followed by more WOW’S!!!!!
A big thanks also to John Sefcik at SRS engines for an exemplary motor and to 3G Racing along with Intrepid for a fast kart. Most of all, thanks to my oh-so-loving and beautiful wife and our children for putting up with all the long nights and all the weekend spent at the track.
A heart-felt thanks to our long time competitors, Vic and Devin Mauk. They provided clean racing and great competition all week long. Devin is a true racer and a gracious winner, the kind words he spoke from the podium were evidence of quite a remarkable young man.
Great Job to Colin Lynn, Chris Jennings, Mike Jones, Nick Lacido and all the NTK bunch. What do all these guys have in common? NORTH TEXAS KARTERS! If you want to know how you size up on the track then come race in Texas! We grow ‘em fast down here.
We look forward to 2009 and racing at the Super Nationals again! |

Just wanting to pass along to the SKUSA group that they really put on a great race weekend, I hope that my brother and I can get our acts together and come and play next year.
A few notes from a fan, and possible racer…
• I tried to purchase an XL event t-shirt on Saturday afternoon and they were already sold out…
• Event program very good, but why not have all the driver information for every class not just the super-pro, would be nice to see the driver age and other information for all classes
• Pit’s looked fantastic, it would be nice if all the “Pro” teams were on the main row as we walked in, and that the tents were open to fans walking buy, not really fan of photo friendly
• Should have a place to get water and food in the pits or around the track, took me a day to find in the hotel and was only open after 11:00
• Posters were great look forward to see Jonathan Thonon’s CRG on it next year
• Need more/higher stands around the track
• Should not allow drivers and mechanics to stand on top of kart stands, hard to see and looked very dangerous if they were to fall off
• Should gear the entire event around the super-pro event, need to take advantage that some (many) of the worlds best drivers are on hand, push as many pro’s into this class as possible, maybe by upping the payouts by pulling from other classes,
o One less heat race and have a 40 min super-pro qualifying event (Saturday) so they can come in and adjust the karts, try to position so we can see from the stands.
o Or have a super-poll like World Super bike one lap, but do it closer to the finals on Sunday so everyone can see it
o Have posters for the top teams and have drivers available to sign at their tents at times during the day
o Maybe only use Rob H. for the pro events and make sure we can hear him all over the track, have him walk around and interview the pro’s
• Parking garage at the fare end of the track was one of the best places to watch racing, many non karters standing up there, were amazed at what they were seeing and that IRL and NASCAR drivers were on the track
• As a PCA Race member I would ask that as you post results, that you place 50 or so sheets that can be picked up by each driver, fan and team, they are very nice to have to review and are a great keepsake, not expensive and a very useful over a race weekend
• Days were to long, need to reduce total classes, I know this race is for racers but having the final super-pro heat race so late on Saturday night was a pain
• Each class should have it’s own number plate color so can tell apart, possibly have the pro’s use their main qualifying position as their kart number, the two none karters with me had no idea what was going on after a few laps
Thanks

| I agree with the other Todd on the issue of grandstands. Everyone in karting talks about more spectators. But it's hard to generate spectator interest with two short grandstands 50' from the track. It would have looked awesome on Super Sunday with packed grandstands lining the fence for the Super Pro race. I know several people who are relatively new to karting who came just to watch and could only see drivers helmets pass by every 40 something seconds or so. Larger, taller, and more grandstands much closer to the track would have been awesome. I agree that the tuners on the fence on top of the kart stands is dangerous. However as one of those tuners on top of a stand I have to say it is a necessary evil. As a tuner you have to be able to see your driver on track at all times. If there was an alternative to standing on your kart stand on the pit fence that would be awesome. Again overall this years Supernats was a great race. I have been to the last four Supernats and I must say it evolves every year. I'm sure Tom and Skusa will make next years bigger and better as always. |
