I figured this is just another way for me to talk crap about Wheeler, or is he a member here too? Yes I was also sent the picture from Smock, but unfortunately that's the only "big talent" that I've seen around here so far. Perhaps once the big event starts up and more is going on than practice there will be a bit more talent wandering around the track.
Jason, we're definitely going to miss you and Wheeler around here, but then again I guess that's just two less whiny bitches I have to deal with. Now if I can just do something about dad...
BTW, Brandi (however she spells her name) from the Racefanradio 30 second pre-stream spot is going to be hanging out with us this weekend. There's some talent... (To anyone that has no idea who Brandi is, click on the "listen now" button on racefanradio.com and watch the commercial that plays before the stream starts, or search Brandi Pierce at Model Mayhem... _________________ I, as usual have nothing important to add to the conversation, but I'll talk anyway! |

Little bit of priceless info. Wheeler is at chi-town spotting for bruno.
He choked on a corn dog yesterday and spent the night in the hospital..this in itself is not usually funny, unless you know wheeler. _________________ Like a fat kid playing dodge ball. |

Wow, thank you for that! That just made my day! What an idiot. Matt Long laughed his ass off. We'll be passing that along and perhaps putting a moment of silence in our shows in Memory of Wheeler who tragically choked on a corn dog...
He is ok, except for a bruised ego, right? _________________ I, as usual have nothing important to add to the conversation, but I'll talk anyway! |

Can you give us an idea of how many people were there on track practicing? Or, at least how many Masters were there this weekend?
I will be there on Tuesday...could not make it sooner. _________________ Paul Montopoli

Another great job and write-up for the event by the staff at ekartingnews. You guys and gals really help elevate karting to the professional level.
As one would expect we are happy to see so many racers from Florida and having seen most of these folks at the various tracks I can say they are a formidable bunch to contend with.
One of the drivers to keep an eye out for in the micro max class is Patricio O'Ward. He is an awesome competitor and should be an up and coming force to watch in the coming years.
We have also been privilaged to have hosted some of the other drivers...Hunter Folsom being a regular FKCS kid karter (having just moved up) who is a great competitor as well.
These young guns are going to be the future of karting so be on the look out. Best wishes to all that qualified and we are looking for many Florida drivers to bring home the trophies!

This evening, starting at 6pm Eastern, RaceFanRadio launches full coverage of the 2008 Rotax Max Grand Nationals live from the USA International Raceway just outside Shawano, WI. This year's wall-to-wall coverage is scheduled to include 35+ hours of live reporting anchored by eKartingNews.com’s Rob Howden and David Cole.
RaceFanRadio CEO Charlie Brown expects a huge listener tune in for the entire week and said, "We should break records for both total listeners and On-Demand downloads for this event as our crew is gearing up to produce extra shows covering all of the social activities planned for the participants above and beyond the on-track activities."
With the high tune-in expected, this will make for a wonderful opportunity for our broadcast partners to get maximum exposure to karting fans the world over as they tune in to find out who will represent the U.S. in the world finals. (Podium finishers will be a part of the U.S. Karting Team competing in the 9th ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE GRAND FINALS in Italy from November 25th to November 30th, 2008.

Glad to hear that you liked tonight's show, we will have many more shows like it throughout the week, so spread the word and keep your Browser open to Racefanradio.com!
Again if anyone has any shout-out's that they want to have read on-air, feel free to send them to submit@racefanradio.com or post them here, because like tonight, we will be online and checking the forums and emails throughout the show!
I'll pass the message about the sunscreen along to Rob!
