I'd like to congradulate Colin on a great race. It was a good one from my point of view, maybe one of the better ones of the day. _________________ Shayne Shipley

Question on the final Final of the Jr Sportsman:
Five drivers (not 4) were able to re-start after the turn 5 pile up; these were Justin Jennings, Sam Beasley, Gregory Gerst, Tyler Stillmunkes, and Sebastian Peters.
Sebastian again crashed coming out of turn 5 in the final final, on about lap 5 or 6, but none of his times show up in my laps after the first pre-pile up final. What happened to his times? Further there seems to be no record of his re-start, except he can be seen in the picture on ekarting news re-starting in the third spot (#27, birel), and I was there and know he was running. Can any one explain why he seemed to vanish in the standings and results? Just wondering.
Thanks,
Kathy

Congratulations to Colin Lynn for a great win in G-1 and to Shayne Shipley and our driver Jason Lee who both gave Colin a run for his money. Great race.
Hopefully the class won't have to endure the "bubble" next year as it was one of the 4 or five highest entry classes.
Also, congrats to my son Cole Mathewson for 3rd place in King of the Streets.

Maybe next year the masters 125 class could be for the $2000.00 _________________ Shayne Shipley

There you go -- starting things again.
As pleased as I am that we ran the class, I might note that 4 of the 24 entries did turn out to be "ghost" riders.
Right now no class is 100 percent safe for 2009. Now's the time to start talking up the class to your friends.
Maybe it should be called Old King Of The Streets. Maybe The Scooter Store will sponsor the class !

Even with 4 ghost riders wasn't it one of the top fielded classes. Not to mention the best race.
One thing to maybe mention is that since we are the masters class could we be earlier in the schedule due to the cut down beer drinking time
Had a great time and will be there again. Thank you for allowing the class and for everything else. Don't forget to contact Mo's Gold. _________________ Shayne Shipley

It was a great race for sure. Shayne good call on the money but maybe $4k would be better. Thanks MRP, SwedeTech and Jason "Flintstone" Berry. Thanks to Roger and the whole RIGP crew.
