Kelly I have to agree totally! I can honestly say KART (MARRS) is really a great family organization!!
I knew I would forget to mention someone and I'm very sorry. We need to thank Mark Henry for fabricating the canopy, which also looks fantastic!!
Thanks again to everyone and I'm very sorry if I forgot to mention anyone for we (NORMANS) appreicate everything everyone has done!!! I have always said the people of KART (MARRS) are willing to do anything for you as if you were family, and this just confirms my statement!
I JUST RECEIVED THIS PHOTO FROM JOHN LARSON AND I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD SHOT AND IT SAYS IT ALL. AS YOU CAN TELL IT SURE MADE DAD HAPPY! OF COURSE THE ONES WHO KNOW HIM IT'S TOUGH TO FIND HIM NOT SMILING, BUT THIS IS BIGGER THAN MOST!!

You are so right Bryan. When I started talking to Jamie about putting this thing together for this past weekend, I told him Mike would be the one in a wheelchair w/ a big smile on his face. An incredible person!
Thanks to Roush Racing for making it happen! _________________ Keep on kartin' llb.

| I don't post on here much, but I wasn't at Garnett until Sunday, and I just saw the scooter that Kenny built for Mike. There have been and are hundreds of great people in KART, but Kenny Taylor, You are ONE CLASS ACT!!! |

An easy way to access is to go to www.ottawaherald.com
In the upper right hand corner is a search tool. Type in Mike Norman and you'll get that article.
Thanks Mike for your attitude & determination! |

It's been awhile since anything has needed to be posted on this topic, however Dad received some very deserving news yesterday afternoon. Dad received the Mettle of Honor from the rehabilitation center where he completed his PT.
Not exactly sure if they changed the terminology, but when he was in PT they had what they called the wall of fame, but it was our understanding they discontinued that program. I also figured it was a matter of time before something like this would happen. Once again very proud to call him Dad!
Just wanted to share the exciting news. _________________ When it's raining I'll be drinking!! |
